Established over 120 years ago, The American School in Japan (ASIJ) stands as a premier educational choice in Tokyo, offering a world-class, WASC-accredited American curriculum to students from age three through high school graduation. ASIJ is widely celebrated for having outstanding and comprehensive campus facilities that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to student development. These exceptional spaces include a 25-meter indoor pool, multiple sports fields, a dedicated theater, and advanced design technology labs. These facilities richly support the school's deep academic rigor and extensive Advanced Placement (AP) course offerings. The school serves a diverse community of approximately 1,600 students across its central Roppongi and main Chofu campuses. Further strengthening this environment, ASIJ is driven by a highly qualified faculty, 75% of whom hold postgraduate degrees. This focus on both academic excellence and holistic growth is reinforced by over 170 co-curricular activities, ensuring ASIJ graduates consistently gain entry to top global universities and providing a stable and exceptional educational foundation.
The American School in Japan (ASIJ) often structures the tuition fees into two installments for families paying personally. The first installment is typically due in August, corresponding with the start of the academic year, and the second installment is usually due mid-year, around January or February.
