ISTimes Global (00:01): Hi, this is the International School Times Global at the Osaka International Education Expo. I’m here with Hatsuki and Ranmaru. Uh could you introduce yourselves, please?
MMBH (Hatsuki) (00:12): Hello. I’m the TOEFL and IELTS specialist in MMBH. Hatsuki Kawasaki. Nice to meet you.
MMBH (Ranmaru) (00:20): Hello. Uh I’m one of the founder and representative of MMBH Ryugaku. Uh my name is Ranmaru Kishitani. Nice to see you.
What is MMBH?
ISTimes Global (00:28): It’s great to meet you. Could you tell us a little bit about learning at your service?
MMBH (Ranmaru) (00:34): Oh, I would say our service is really purpose-driven, which means students come here for a certain purpose, say, uh training their IELTS, getting certain scores for university applications, and to get to in or get to accepted to university. So um basically we support students for high schools, degree, masters, or sometimes PhDs and so on. So yeah, that kind of service.
Who uses MMBH?
ISTimes Global (01:01): Sounds great. What kind of people um use your service?
MMBH (Hatsuki) (01:05): Well, I’d say it’s really um kind of varies from person to person. But I’d say um we have some middle schools and high schools. But mainly um university students who want to go to exchange programs. That’s our main target. And as well as those people, we got um like older people, say 20s, 30s, or sometimes 50s or 60s who want to continue their you know, their pathway of learning in masters and so on. So yeah, that kind of people.
Future Aspirations
ISTimes Global (01:37): And then lastly, could you tell us a bit about the dreams and aspirations that um your learners have?
MMBH (Ranmaru) (01:45): Well, I think um we support people who want to pursue their ways more and more. So to be specific, uh high schoolers or university students, they want to be something, say um some of them want to be an artist, or some of them want to do business, or want to learn entrepreneurship. And they want to do something that they can’t do in Japan. So that they want to go study abroad and they want a challenge. So we are here to support in the most efficient way that we could do in pursuing their, you know, pursuing their ways and passing the borders.
ISTimes Global (02:28): You good?
MMBH (Hatsuki) (02:29): What kind of purpose? What kind of aspirations they have?
ISTimes Global (02:32): Yes.
MMBH (Hatsuki) (02:33): Oh, yes, like um some sometimes um they have to like hardships or like like a disabilities such as um some some students have have a like uh like complicated situation with a pronunciation, like Tourette’s or something. Or like um some some students um had had like a mental illness because of the the like like school lives. But, but you know, um the like the stunning experiences in in like overseas is totally different from like like the experiences in Japan. And this kind of experience will make them, make their lives, like make their whole lives like like 180°, like change. So, maybe that is like uh the aspirations from for some students, I think.
MMBH (Ranmaru) (03:41): Right, right, right. So we basically help all students to overcome their borders, their challenges, their hurdles so that they can achieve their goals. That’s basically it.
ISTimes Global (03:52): Okay, got it. Thank you so much for your time.
MMBH (Ranmaru) (03:54): Thanks so much. Bye.
MMBH (Hatsuki) (03:55): Thank you. Bye. See you.
ISTimes Global (03:57): Good. Good job.
MMBH (Ranmaru) (03:59): Yay. We got it.
MMBH (Hatsuki) (04:00): Thank you. Thank you very much.
