Tamagawa Academy (K-12) & University is a prestigious private institution in Machida, Tokyo, founded in 1929. Built on its “Zenjin” (Whole Person) education philosophy, the school focuses on developing students academically, morally, physically, and socially within a structured and values-based environment.

It is one of the early adopters of the International Baccalaureate (IB) in Japan, offering the MYP and Diploma Programme. Students can earn both the IB Diploma and a Japanese high school diploma, providing strong pathways to universities in Japan and worldwide.

Set on a large, green campus, Tamagawa offers excellent facilities including multiple gymnasiums, athletic fields, swimming pools, libraries, theaters, and advanced science labs. With experienced IB-certified teachers and diverse extracurricular programs, the academy combines rigorous academics with holistic development in a well-resourced campus setting.
