The Montessori School of Tokyo (MST)

The Montessori School of Tokyo (MST), established in 2003, is the largest Montessori school in Japan and one of the only institutions in the country providing a continuous Montessori education from toddlerhood through middle school. Nestled in the highly desirable Minami-Azabu district of Minato-ku, the school offers a fully immersive English-language environment. For early childhood education, MST operates two distinct, meticulously prepared developmental programs: the "Little People" toddler program and the "Sunshine" Children's House program. Known for its authentic pedagogy, the school utilizes physical learning materials rather than digital screens to foster intrinsic motivation, physical coordination, and executive functioning.
